STRONG CITY, KANSAS

The 3 B’s

Today, a new sign was installed today at the 1900 theater. And today is also when the first confirmed case of Covid-19 has been reported in Chase county.

Across Kansas, 94 people have died of the virus. This will get higher.

The United States has a highest death toll from the virus than any other nation: 36,905 as of today. This will be higher tomorrow. This will be much higher in a week.

While there are people protesting the national shut down, this is the only protection currently available against the pandemic. To repeat: this is the only protection currently available against the pandemic.

So, be kind. Be safe. Be strong.

You be safe too, Ross. I’ll be thinking of you and my friends in Chase County.

What a supportive message to send out from the theater group. I hope everyone that drives by and read’s it, embraces these words. Yes, it is a scary time, but a time to reflect on the importance of the strength and compassion needed to help those suffering from this situation. We are in this together and need to stay kind, safe and strong.
