Ann Robinson the star of the 1953 WAR OF THE WORLDS was a guest in my home the last week of November. She is now 86 and does personal appearances with screenings of WAR OF THE WORLDS. Did you book it from Paramount and did they wave the screening charges ? Had she known of the screening she would have driven down for the benefit.

I spoke with someone six months ago about color shots I have of the original interior of the theater before the roof fell in. I lost the contact for some reason. I can scan and send them PDF for download if you can give me an e-mail number.

The head of the former Kansas Theater Historic Association David Jenkens had a visit with the city council prior to the roof loss in an effort to get this rare theater saved. Thankfully it must have worked.

When I was there parts of projectors were in the booth. Did you save these? If so we probably have parts to complete them for display at the theater.
