The 1900 Theater will be showing The Miracle on 34th Street on Saturday, December 22.

The 1947 classic stars Natalie Wood…

…and Maureen O’Hara and John Payne…

…and Edmund Gwenn as Kris Kringle!

Doors will open at 6 with the movie beginning at 6:30.

The admission price of $20, which includes wine, beer, soda, water, hot popcorn, and snacks!

This heartwarming movie will be shown on our 105-inch screen in our now heated auditorium. Yes! We have heaters now!

The screen, projector, sound system, and the heaters were all purchased through a generous Trusler Foundation Grant.

All proceeds go to the continued restoration of this historic limestone building.  The Strong City Preservation Alliance looks forward to seeing you at this event and thanks each of you for your continued support.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all, and may peace be with you in the New Year.

I want to say a special Merry Christmas to all of you that have supported our 1900 theater this year. 2018 has been a great year for the Strong City Preservation Alliance thanks to the dedicated effort of all the board members as well as the many people that have continually supported us in the restoration of this wonderful piece of our history here in Strong City. I hope to see you at our final, year end event on Saturday with the showing of ” A Miracle on 34th Street” I will be the one behind the popcorn machine! Also, on Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 5 to 6 you will find Mr. and Mrs. Claus rocking in their chairs and waving to cars passing thru Strong City. Stop by, chat and get a candy cane. Again, thanks to you and may each of you have a great holiday season.
